Victor Bao is a seasoned chief strategist, marketing leader, and growth advisor with more than 25 years of international experience guiding organizations through expansion, transformation, and innovation. His career spans hospitality, fitness, retail, technology, franchising, and legal services, where he has consistently delivered measurable results across top- and bottom-line performance.
Victor currently serves as Managing Director, Europe at Valorem Group, where he leads global strategy, expansion, and client growth across hospitality, biotech, franchising, and technology. In this role, he partners with investors, boards, and executive teams to align strategic vision with measurable outcomes, driving new market entry, brand positioning, and digital transformation initiatives.
Previously, Victor served as a Trial Court Attorney in Miami-Dade County, advising judges on complex business litigation and appellate matters. His unique combination of legal expertise (J.D., University of Miami School of Law) and executive leadership equips him with a rare perspective on risk, governance, and growth strategy.
As Chief Marketing Officer of Retro Fitness, Victor drove growth and innovation for a $200M fitness enterprise, scaling retail, digital, and franchise marketing strategies while spearheading investor roadshows with Private Equity and Family Offices. Earlier, as CMO of Secure Wrap / Global Shopper, he expanded the company into 19 countries and directed multimillion-dollar CapEx investments in SaaS platforms. He also held senior leadership roles with LVMH, Yamaha, and Club Med, where he led marketing strategy and digital innovation across North America and Latin America.
Victor’s early career included six years with CBS’s SURVIVOR production team, where he honed his skills in large-scale operations, negotiations, and consumer engagement through high-profile media campaigns.
Known as a brisk but thoughtful change-agent, Victor partners with Private Equity, Family Offices, and C-suites to accelerate growth, optimize operations, and infuse organizations with a culture of innovation. His expertise spans P&L management, data-driven KPIs, strategic partnerships, digital & traditional marketing, and investor relations.
