Howie Ehrlich is a seasoned technology, defense, infrastructure, and complex finance executive with over a decade of legal and business leadership experience spanning the cybersecurity, defense contracting, and government services sectors. He is the Founder of Legalux PLLC, where he provides legal and consulting support for government contracting, infrastructure development, and project financing investments.

In addition to leading Legalux, Howie serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board for the University of Baltimore Merrick School of Business, contributing to the advancement of business education and mentorship for the next generation of leaders.

Previously, Howie co-founded NexGen Strategies, a consulting firm focused on strategic growth and operational excellence in the federal sector. His executive leadership includes serving as Executive Vice President & General Counsel at Federal Data Systems, where he guided legal, compliance, and strategic initiatives during a period of significant organizational growth.

Earlier in his career, Howie held senior legal roles at leading firms in the cybersecurity and defense industry, including ThreatConnect, Mission1st Group, Fidelis Cybersecurity, and Booz Allen Hamilton. His expertise covers complex government contracting, FAR/DFAR compliance, corporate governance, export controls, and international business negotiations.

Known for his ability to bridge legal, operational, and strategic perspectives, Howie has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to executives and boards navigating the challenges of national security, global finance, and emerging technology.
